A leading expert in the neuroscience of aging, Dr. Sylvie Belleville will be the keynote speaker at the Hope for Dementia Gala.
Her pioneering work on Alzheimer’s disease, brain plasticity, and reducing the risk of cognitive decline is helping to improve early detection, interventions, and the independence of older adults.
Dr. Sylvie Belleville is a full professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Montreal, a researcher at the Institut universitaire de gériatrie de Montréal (IUGM) Research Center, and the scientific director of the Quebec Network for Research on Aging (RQRV). Dr. Belleville is also the Canada Research Chair in Cognitive Neuroscience of Aging and Brain Plasticity.
