The Innovator of the Year award is given to the organization or individual who has made the largest donation over $25,000. 

IGA Extra Famille Duchemin has given well over $100,00 in kind to Hope for Dementia over the past 5 years, for the Healthy Food.  Healthy Brain. food basket program.  During the pandemic and after, the generosity of our awardee has made it possible for well over 10,000 persons to have a brain healthy meal on special holidays – Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Valentines Day, Thanksgiving, Easter and year-end holidays.  Vulnerable seniors and their families not only receive food baskets, but educational material on dementia and brain healthy recipes.

The Builder of the Year award goes to the organization that makes the largest donation between $5,000 and $25,000 to support the sustainability of one or more of our programs.

This year’s Builder of the Year is Nakisa Inc., which has given over $20,000 to Hope for Dementia, enabling us to expand our programs and clients consistently over the past three years.

Ms. Cristina Zilik, Vice-President, People and Culture, Nakisa Inc. received the award from Camille Isaacs Morell, Vice-President, Hope for Dementia.

Bill Gilbert is the Founder and President of Gpharma Solutions, a leading project management services provider focused on value-driven client representation and site development in the biopharmaceutical manufacturing sector.

Mr. Gilbert is a philanthropist and has been supporting Hope For Dementia Charity since its inception in 2015 through volunteering and donations. Bill is the recipient of the Volunteer of the Year award 2025.

Mr. Bill Gilbert received the award from Mr. Aram Montazami, Vice-President, Novatek International.
