TD Commercial Banking – Builder of the Year 2024
Hope for Dementia cares about seniors and youth. This is why we take an intergenerational approach to deliver our programs and services. By bridging the generational gap, seniors feel valued and stay mentally active, and youth benefit from the knowledge and wisdom of seniors.
Back in 2019, we laid the foundation for the intergenerational service model. Over the years, we have continued to build on this foundation from the contribution of our donors.
For their commitment and generous support, TD Commercial Banking is the recipient of Hope for Dementia’s Builder of the Year award. The unwavering support of TD Commercial Banking over the years has allowed us to repeat our Intergenerational Learning Program within residences here in Montreal and to extend the intergenerational service model to our other programs.
Fati Davoudi, Executive Director, Hope for Dementia presented the award to Luigi D’Argenio, Vice-President, TD Commercial Banking
Dr. David Gold – Volunteer of the Year 2024
The success of any charitable organization’s programs and fund-raising events is highly dependent on the expertise and support of volunteers. It’s very rare when a volunteer can offer diverse talents as a volunteer.
Hope for Dementia is fortunate to have access to the scientific expertise, musical talent, fund raising support and communication skills packaged in 2024’s Volunteer of the Year awardee.
Over the years, we have had on-going access to the expertise of Dr. David Gold, Global Medical Director at Pfizer (Montreal), who also acts as scientific advisor to the leadership of Hope for Dementia. Dr. Gold was involved in Alzheimer’s Disease research as a doctoral candidate and as a professional and brings a wealth of expertise from his experience in the medical and pharmaceutical sectors.
Dr. Gold supports the on-going evolution of our programs. He has hosted and participated in radio shows for Hope for Dementia. We have enjoyed the beautiful music of his Melting Point Jazz Ensemble band at the 2024 gala. As a committed member of the gala organizing committee, here was co-master of ceremonies for the 2024 edition of the annual gala.
Dr. David Gold received the award from Mr. Aram Montazami, Director, Novatek International.
