Sharpen Your Mind and Have Fun with Hope for Dementia’s Busy Box. Better. Brain program!
This month, Hope for Dementia is continuing the Busy. Box. Better. Brain program to Tyndale St-George Community Center, ARC Health & Social Services center, and 4korners Center!
Through regular deliveries of activity kits with tablets, hobby kits, magazines, board games, puzzles, and more, seniors have a chance to enhance their skills and learn new ones, all while socializing with other participants. With the guidance of animators and volunteers at the centers, seniors will explore new software applications, develop new recreational skills, and gain knowledge about ways to reduce their chances of cognitive decline.
Busy Box. Better. Brain isn’t just about activities – it’s about empowering seniors to take charge of their brain health!
The Busy Box. Better Brain. program was developed by Hope for Dementia and is deployed in partnership with the Community Health and Social Services Network (CHSSN). The program is funded by the Secretariat aux relations avec les Québecois d’expression anglaise (SQREA).
