Music and memory have a deep connection. Songs and melodies help us remember important events and information. Music engages different areas of the brain, including those associated with memory and emotions, such as the hippocampus and prefrontal cortex.
Sphère Média is working on a documentary series celebrating the power of music on the brain.
Artist Grégory Charles will lead a choir made up of people suffering from neurodegenerative diseases. The goal is to have the choir perform in a show at the end of the series.
The recruitment period has begun!
Sphère Média is looking for people living with a neurodegenerative disease to be part of this choir, and for their caregivers to support them in this process.
