Earlier this month, Hope for Dementia proudly celebrated its 10th Anniversary Gala, where more than 350 guests came together to highlight the importance of dementia prevention and discuss the future of brain health for Canadians. Your engagement and support make these milestones possible.
Thanks to generous donors like you, Hope for Dementia continues to fund our seven unique flagship programs, each built around the 14 modifiable risk factors of dementia. These programs are specifically designed to tackle dementia in the most effective ways—through early intervention, education, lifestyle support, and community-based engagement.
To date:
- Over 500 individuals have directly participated in our programs;
- Over 15 000 brain healthy meals have been provided;
- Youth have volunteered over 1000 hours supporting seniors; and
- Thousands across Canada accessed our online resources.
As the need grows, we remain committed to enhancing and expanding these programs to better serve our mission and reach as many people as possible.
Hope for Dementia exists because of our community and for our community.
Dementia is now among the top 10 causes of death in Canada, making prevention and the deceleration of cognitive decline a national priority. This charity belongs to Canadians—its direction is shaped by you. With your support, you help determine how dementia is addressed, how prevention efforts grow, and how services are provided to those who need it.
As we approach Giving Tuesday, we invite you to take an active role in shaping Canada’s future against dementia.
Your donation—of any size—directly strengthens the programs our community relies on and expands the support Canadians have asked for. Every contribution is a decision about the future of brain health in this country.
