July 22 is World Brain Day 2024 – a good day as any other to start making lifestyle changes to protect and preserve your brain’s health.
Although there is currently no cure for Alzheimer’s Disease and other forms of dementia, researchers have identified 12 modifiable risks, which can prevent or delay the symptoms of dementia by 40%.
Undaunted by the growth in dementia diagnoses, Hope for Dementia is pressing ahead, offering programs that promote dementia risk reduction through healthy eating, mentally stimulating activities, social interaction, and increased physical activity. In the past year and a half, Hope for Dementia has added three new programs, significantly increasing our clientele and spreading the message of hope for dementia to throughout the province of Québec and beyond.
Visit Hope for Dementia’s online Resource Centre to find out how your can take steps to preserve your brain health.
