Official Partnership Agreement with West-Island Based, A Night to Remember announcement:
NEW PARTNERSHIP WITH HOPE FOR DEMENTIA!!
We are very pleased to announce that we have entered into a strategic alliance with Hope For Dementia https://hopefordementia.org/about-us/, a federal non-profit charitable organization.
We will continue to honour our commitment to support the Alzheimer Society of Montreal, but feel that together we can contribute to supporting the early diagnosis, treatment and prevention of dementia, as well as helping to provide critical services to those currently struggling to cope.
Led by Parsa Famili, the CEO of Novatek, Hope For Dementia is dedicated to working toward the cause of safeguarding healthy brains in our aging population by supporting the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of dementia and other neurological disorders. Hope For Dementia has 3 clear objectives:
- Facilitate access to the early detection of neurological ailments
- Educate and raise awareness about the debilitating effects of Alzheimer’s disease and other dementia-related illnesses, and
- Establish a Research Chair at a Canadian University to conduct teaching, research & development
By joining forces, under the Hope For Dementia umbrella, A Night To Remember will be able to make an even bigger impact to help those individuals and families suffering from the ravages of Alzheimer’s disease and other neurological conditions.
We couldn’t be more excited to collaborate with the entire Hope For Dementia team and to bring renewed energy to our common fight against the disease that took our fathers from us far too early.
These are early days in our new partnership, but what this means is that we will not be holding our A Night To Remember Impact Gala this November, but will instead be joining the Hope For Dementia Gala in March of 2020. Stay tuned for more information on how you can get your tickets as we can assure you it will be an event you don’t want to miss.
The tsunami of an aging population is upon us, so we hope you are as enthusiastic as we are about this new direction.
Please let us know if you have any questions or would like to get more involved.
Sincerely,
Scott, Mark, and David
Night to Remember Team
