Collaborator of the Year 2023 awarded to Echelon Foundation
Hope for Dementia is a small organization that relies on the goodwill of corporations and individuals who volunteer their time. We collaborate to organize events, raise funds, and deliver services.
Our recently launched annual Recognition Program celebrates and honors the contribution of donors and collaborators, who make it possible for Hope for Dementia to fulfill its mission, benefitting hundreds of seniors who are proactively preserving their brain health.
One such collaborator is Echelon Foundation that raised over $60,000 by encouraging employees, clients, brokers, and stakeholders to participate in a silent auction and fund-raising Impact Day.
The Echelon Foundation is the recipient of Hope for Dementia’s Collaborator of the Year 2023 Award.
Erin McKee, President, Insurance and Vice President of Wealth Services received the award on behalf of the Foundation at Hope for Dementia’s Annual Gala 2023.
The funds raised will expand Hope for Dementia’s Healthy Food. Healthy Brain. program in 2024. Over 600 food baskets with enough food to prepare a meal for a family of 5 will be distributed on major holidays in 2024, along with a special recipe and a pamphlet with information on how proper nutrition can reduce the risks of dementia and support brain health.
The first distribution will be on April 7, to celebrate the new season of spring and Easter.
Created in 2018 by the management of financial services firm Echelon Wealth Partners, the Echelon Foundation raises funds for charitable organizations.
Echelon Wealth Partners’ employees nominate charities to receive funds raised on the Foundation’s Impact Day. The charities’ submissions are shortlisted by a review committee. Employees are asked to vote for the charity of their choice to be the recipient of Impact Day fundraising.
Hope for Dementia was selected as the charity to benefit from Echelon Foundation’s Impact Day 2023 and silent auction.
